Nick Lund-Ulrich is the co-owner of Scoundrel VFX, as well as a visual effects artist with over a decade of experience and an up-and-coming visual effects supervisor. His work on HBO’s THE PACIFIC won an Emmy and several Visual Effects Society awards. Nick started his career with Jerry Pooler and his team at Digital Dream. His visual effects credits there include THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, THE GUARDIAN, and NEXT. Nick also had the privilege of working with acclaimed matte painter Ken Nakada on films such as CITY OF EMBER and APOCALYPTO. His own company, Scoundrel, specializes in environments and compositing for supporting VFX in studio features and independent producers. Favorite projects include: RED, PREMIUM RUSH, and PRIEST. As a visual effects supervisor, he has contributed to: DELIVER US FROM EVIL, THINK LIKE A MAN TOO and ME HIM HER. In addition to his VFX work Nick has directed several short films including the winner of the first Gizmodo Laptop Confidential Contest, HER NAME
WAS GIZMODO, and HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, which won the audience award at the 2006 Ashfield Film Festival.
